Title: Permitted development rights stripped away.
Post by: SmallWelshBarn on September 24, 2017, 12:33:59 pm
I am about to embark on yet another battle with my local planner she is frankly an utter cow. I fought to be able to extend my home which was original a barn. I now have consent to double its size when I appealed her refusal ;-)
When the barn was originally granted planning they stripped away its PD rights so I can change nothing with out consent.
For those in a similar position this actually goes against the current government policy which I am about to use against the planner. PD can only be removed under exceptional circumstances.
Removing PD is detrimental to the home owner and can devalue the property. I do wish the planner would learn to play nice and not enter in to a battle she is bound to loose !
