Hi, new to the forum and need some urgent advice!
Picked up some weaners today and not happy with condition. Need to improve as quickly as possible and think it's due to worms. They were done with Flubenol a week ago but I've heard this isn't a great product?!
Is there another wormer I can use which wouldn't harm them considering they've just been done with Flubenol?

What don't you like about their condition?
We use Flunenol. How old are they? When were they weaned. What and how much were they being fed?

Also what breed, some get quite lanky looking at around 11 weeks, even though they're being fed correctly. Flubenol should work but you need to dose for weight. We weigh out the normal feed, mix in a little vegetable oil to make it sticky then add the correct amount of Flubenol and stir it around to coat the feed so none gets lost. Are they scouring?

Thanks for replies. They just seem a lot smaller than our last lot of weaners at 10 weeks but previous were a PT X GOS and these are Tamworth x GOS so am wondering if breed related. Poos look fine but they are scratching a lot - mites maybe??

Tamworth part of the equation could well bring lankiness at that age. Shouldn't be scratching much - probably worth getting your vet's advice but sarcoptic mange or lice most likely - take vet's advice on best product to use.

Looks to be ivamectin so spent the afternoon weighing them for correct dose! The smallest is around 7kg and the largest 11kg with 10kg being average-any idea if this is in the range of normal for age/breed??

Difficult to tell - crossbreeds may not always be a straight cross but also have another breed or two in the mix somewhere. Good for hybrid vigour but not predictability of size or shape.
