Title: Another question!

I thought i'd read somewhere that EID tags are compulsory, but now I cannot find anything to back this up. - Was I dreaming?   ???

Yes- EID only compulsory in sheep at the moment, cattle will become compulsory in the future I expect but not currently needed.
