Title: North Wales smallholder?
Post by: moelview on July 07, 2017, 12:02:21 pm
Hello!

I'm a natural dyer looking to have my own limited edition yarn spun from local fleeces.

I'm based in Mold, N. Wales and would be very interested to know what kind of sheep you keep & availability of the fleece. I'm not looking for huge quantities, as this will be a blend. Hopefully something very unique, a woolly reflection of North Wales. Also, if there is a thread or group which you think would be better suited to this topic, please let me know! Thank you!

Have you tried Tim and Dot Tyne (The Sheep Book for Smallholders)?  They're in your direction and keep a couple of Welsh breeds.
