Title: Do I need a strimming ticket

Iv started a new job as a handy man and one of the jobs is cutting the verges in public places do I need a qualification to do this ?  It's just a wire strimmer not a brush cutter thanks

Legally speaking, I've no idea. However I'd be extremely surprised if you were covered by insurance without having the ticket.

chatting to council worker to day , they get an induction, ie petrol here, oil here , naughty end ,good end , hot bit.how to load trimming filament and ppe required ,sign a form and off you go ...

if your self employed you dont need the ticket but i would recommend public liability insurance
