Just wondering if anyone has used their own seaweed fertiliser. I've made my own by just adding equal amounts of fresh seaweed and water, covering loosely and leaving for several weeks (it stinks!).
I'm just about to use it but I've come across an article that states "it’s anaerobic, left to sit for periods of time that are cause for worry over toxic microbes populating. ....and so I'm unsure whether to use it. I've heard a lot about homemade liquid fertilisers and most of them are just left for weeks without intervention, so I'm thinking surely they should be alright to use - any thoughts?
