Title: Paid work
Post by: Chris H on March 06, 2017, 08:34:58 am
Anyone interested in some paid work in Carmarthenshire? we are fixing a place up to get it on the market and some strong/experienced help would be great.

Chris,
I can't help but it may be useful for others to know what type of work you require. i.e. for the land, the property, DIY or more expert

Thanks Bionic, it's an old house that has been empty for a few years, the outside needs rendering, inside replastered and part of one ceiling has come down. Outside needs clearing of an old wood building (skip coming) garden very overgrown (chainsaw supplied) maybe new kitchen and one shower room to be fitted. Squatters have been in (don't you just love them) so cleaning is on the cards! Just husband and old spaniel to do the work!

It may be worth advertising on FB, you will have to sift the wheat from the chaff though as there are a lot who wouldn't be up to it. What about friends/family, would they be able to help at all?

Location is Cross Hands, 6 miles out for Carmarthen, Not sure about Facebook? will have a look, I appreciate that not everyone is up to the work, but felt that here was a good place to ask! no family in the area and friends are mostly spread around.
