Title: re-homing Alpacas, Suffolk
Post by: Lottiepony on January 17, 2017, 03:15:23 pm
Hi all,

I've been directed this way as a suggestion from another forum (horsey) that this may be where I can get some help!

I'm trying to help my uncle re-home 5 alpacas as he is no longer in a position to keep them. There are all Huacayas, 4 females who must be around 9 years old (as he's had them that long!) and one young male who was born last year. They are not halter broken or trained but have been handled for shearing and feet trimming in the past.

Does anyone know how I can go about finding them suitable homes? Best places to contact, facebook groups to advertise etc.

Thanks

Does your uncle want them going as a group? I have a friend with three females and she had mentioned sometime last year about possibly getting a boy. I'll ask for you.

Thank you! I don't see why they can't be split but can check. I'm trying to find all they're details and breeding etc I don't think the young male has been registered at all so will need to check into it. I admit my knowledge is very limited on alpacas!
