Title: Looking for a Tamworth boar in central Scotland
Post by: NethertonSH on January 15, 2017, 08:59:19 pm
Hi,

Was just wondering if anyone had or knew of a Tamworth boar (preferably pedigree) that we could hire? Would also consider buying one.

We're based near Harthill so something within an hours drive would be preferable.

Thanks

Try Whitmuir at Lamancha?

Try the Museum of Rural Life, I've had Tamworth weaners from them before.  I think Maggie, the stocksperson, or Richie are the people to contact.

Thanks Cuddles, I gave them a call but they don't have a boar to hire out.

That's me called everyone in Scotland on the Tamworths breeders club website and no one has said they have a boar to hire and don't know anyone that does. Looks like I'll have to buy one or have a go at AI.
