Title: small breeding flocks of Boreray sheep
Post by: bib on June 14, 2010, 11:34:17 pm
Hi, Ive got ewes with lambs and unrelated tups if anyone's interested in buying them.  Mine arent registered, but I know which ones are related.  I've a few ewes and lambs, the wee tup who's 2 years old and two of last years tup lambs who are unrelated to the 3 younger ewes.  They've had lambs this year to the other tup. They are whitish with black markings, getting grayer as they age.  Lovely soft wool, and small sized but very hardy and very easy lambers. Similar to scottish blackface but smaller - lovely curved horns. Also some registered Hebridean two horned ewes with lambs at foot, and maybe a Hebridean ram too.  Easy lambers too.  We're in the Black Isle, so get in touch if you're interested - I'll have way too many sheep this winter if I dont get rid of some.

Would like some Castlemilk ewes or ewe lambs if anyone's got any of these I'd be interested (although this is going in thr wrong direction number wise!) .

Can see some of the sheep on my website www.blackislebirds.co.uk, or can take new photos & send if anyone wants.
Cheers,
Rhona
