We have an Andrew James Electric Precision slicer 19cm blade. Bought it off Amazon.

Nesbits sell recons on ebay  I had a commercial one for under £100 including postage.  I cant comment on the quality of a home style one.  But the commercial one has problems with size of wheel and cutting through the rind so not sure whether a domestic one could cope with this.

Thanks both. We have invested in the Andrew James one. Seems to be doing the  job
