Title: Newby
Post by: Maisymay on September 21, 2016, 04:22:35 pm
Hello all,
A dream come true is nearly there, after some years of saving finally get my hands on 11 acres of land. So excited about it all.

I have a major weed problem that will be first priority as it has been neglected for a bit so will try and source a local farmer to come with his tractor and toys to top. Hedges need a little tidy-up but nothing major.

Have a right-of-ways access which has fell into disrepair and locals have decided a new route and letting their dogs off the leads and fouling without a care!! - all I can say is make the most of it.  Posts and stockproof fence ordered and ready to put in once topped, council for a poo bin and then it designing for real my stables, fishing lake, property, ornamental lake for my Koi.

Anybody beekeeping?

Looking forward to putting my dilemmas out here and receive good or indifferent comments/advise. Thanks

Hello, dear and welcome! Good luck with folk keeping dogs on leads, they'll tell you "they wouldn't harm a fly" "They're only playing" when chasing in-lamb ewes, " You people think you own the countryside!" etc........ but these things don't happen often.
