Title: Yarndale 2016
Post by: Fleecewife on September 13, 2016, 11:54:40 am
Is anyone going to Yarndale?

We have the Scottish Smallholders Show on the Sat, but had just about decided to go to Yarndale on the Sunday.  It's 3 hours each way, but then I found the parking on site is severely restricted.  As we couldn't get there by first thing that would mean we would have to park a long way away, with dogs.  I couldn't walk it, and I don't do buses.  The list of stallholders seems largely the same as at Woolfest.

So it looks as if we won't be going after all  :(.  25th is a special day for us, so we'll need to find something else crafty to do  but closer to home.

I would love to go but not sure I can get goat cover as we have just been to Wales for a week and going to France on 10th October to see our son. Think I'd be pushing my luck to ask my regular relief milker so soon.

A little gem spinning wheel, a palm washboard for felting, a Lucet, along with a few needles and a Yarndale bag.  Not really photo material I am afraid.

I'd have enjoyed the photo but never mind :)

My sister has a Little Gem, it's the one she most often takes out and about with her.
