Title: Anyone tried germinating rosemary? Need some advice...
Post by: Fishyhaddock on May 25, 2010, 10:22:32 pm
Gradually my 7 week seedlings are dying off, each leaf turning brown and then withering away, I thought I had done the hard bit by getting them to germinate in  :farmer:the first place. They are in small pots in an unheated greenhouse. Any ideas anyone?

I grew mine from seed indoors, took some time but now have a beautiful Rosemary plant. It took two years before it was big enough to use!

I select a nice little branch and  tear it off to gain a heel pop it in a 3" pot of potting compost and usually 4 out of 5 grow leave them until there is a root showing at the hole in the bottom of the pot before planting :farmer:
