Title: Help needed to fix well/spring pump Nr Cardigan, Wales
Post by: Shinding on September 01, 2016, 07:30:31 pm

Husband has been fixing a leaking water pipe on our land which had been crushed. the pipe did not go anywhere but had been crushed just before the cut off valve. he switched off the pump then moved the cut off valve / cap above the damage to the pipe. when he switched the pump back on the pump had stopped working. He believes that there is an airlock in the system or in the pump itself? Any other ideas or any suggestions about what the problem could possibly be. He has checked the fuse board and this has not tripped but he has no idea how to get the pump working again. any suggestions or can you recommend anyone in the area to have a look at it?

Thanks

No idea. Soumnds like a professional would come in handy, we used all pump services and excellent service it was too. We had a similar problem and got another company out and they made it worse and according to all pump services the other companies are well known as cowboys, in that they don't finish a job and are very slap dash.
