Title: Some history of fulling
Post by: SallyintNorth on August 31, 2016, 05:30:47 pm
I recently got back in touch with an old college pal, Kate.  Back then I was trying unsuccessfully to become a vet, probably unsuccessfully at least in part due to the much greater success I was having at winning drinking games ::), and Kate was studying archaeology and anthropology.  Nowadays, turns out we both spin and knit.

Anyways, she has an entertaining and informative blog as Woolwinding.  In her most recent issue she's turned her attention to fulling through history.  I thought some of you might enjoy it.  linky (https://woolwinding.wordpress.com/2016/08/31/fulling-cloth-smells-and-stamping-in-rome)
