Title: radishes - long and skinny!
Post by: plumseverywhere on May 16, 2010, 04:19:41 pm
woops, I think I've done something wrong?! my radishes - some of them look like the ones you get int he shops, you know red and round but others look more like spaghetti. am guessing i've either overcrowded them or perhaps the ground is too hard?
any ideas?

maybe there were different kinds in the seed packet - there are long and skinny radishes, either white or red! :&>

;D  ah well, all a steep learning curve!   the long skinny ones found their way into the rabbit hutch and the round ones will find their way into a salad  :)  might try and eat a skinny one next time though, perhaps it was a mixed packet? the picture was round ones though..

they just need a bit longer to grow as they will be much bigger but are just as tasty! :&>
