Title: pc repairer needed uirgently North Fife

our power supply on the Dell has given up and we are desperate...Does anyone know of someone who can help?? We do have quite a few members around here, maybe there is a chance...

you should be able to get a 350 watt one from saverstore for about £15 .
 Very easy to change over , just 4 little screws and a few plugs inside ...10 mins max ...
If you need a higher wattage , then the price goes up accordingly .
 Last time mine went , the new one was here within 48 hours .

NFD one of the big players in the electronics supply is Maplin I don't know if there is one in Fife but they have several outlets in Scotland If you have a pal who will look where the nearest shop is you may get the bike out and fetch one.It is an easy job to change a PSU.Take in the old one and ask for one like this but one as works The plugs are marked to stop wrong way round fitting.Have a go you  will be back on line tomorrow

Kerstin, I've had 2 Dells and had exactly this same problem with both of them - hence why I wont have another dell.  i got another power supply online but found that it wasnt powerful enough and ended up getting a new pc in the end!

We have just bought a new PC from Aldi and it's great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

try the PC shop in Leuchars, by the Bike, or what was the bike shop, they have turned up the doods when our Pc went Pfut

You wouldn't believe it - OH ordered the power supply (let's hope it fits alright) but;....taking the old one out he dropped the hub onto the wobbly plug of the kid's pc and now that one is messed up, too- arrrggggh!!!

N F D It's a feature I think with compooters .They are the most obstinate awkward things ever invented Mine ,if it can upset me it does.I only need look at it and it hic cups ??? ::) :-[ :-* :wave: :farmer:
