Hi all
Anyone interested in a Llanwenog fleece to spin? (I'm told it felts well too) . £14 including courier costs. Only selling our best ones.

And lovely fleeces they are too. I thoroughly enjoyed spinning mine and knitting it up. If it wasn't for the fact that our loft is half full of fleeces and my OH may well divorce me, I'd be after some more.

Does it spin well? Ok for a beginner? Very tempted, I have a few for pegloom rugging but a nice fleece to practice my spinning on...

Dans, I spun some a couple of years ago. I'm not a very experienced spinner and did ok with it.

I bought one last year, it is lovely to prep and spin. Like MGM I am currently well overstocked with fleece so banned from buying more until I get through at least some of the mountain I currently possess! :spin: :knit: :innocent:

I haven't had one of Linda's Llanwenogs, but have had one from a nearby breeder up here. Very pleasant fleece, lots of character, not at all harsh, dyes well, not inclined to felt when washed - so yes, a good choice for a beginner, Dans.

Go on then. I don't know when I will spin it but it would be good to have something nice to work with when I get the time.
Di you want to PM me with payment details Linda?

I will also be divorced if I buy any more fleeces (just as well he doesn't know about the hidden stash at the back of the feed barn......... :innocent:) Let us know how you get on Dans.
