Why is there [1] beside my profile, never seen it before  :thinking:

Someone will have mentioned you in a post, click on the drop down menu and you'll find it.

there will also be a notification email in your inbox too. To mention someone simply click@ and the username straight after. Hope this helps :)

I have a 1 as well but I couldn't work out what was different about my profile.

It's not very intuitive just now. In your profile, if you're using a mouse hover over 'Profile Info' and you should see a menu appear below it. There's a link there to 'Mentions':

Thanks, Dan (and everyone else who contributed). I read Scarlet.Dragon's post and checked that I hadn't written in as I felt the same. I now know who mentioned me and the 1 has gone.
