Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I am hoping to apply for Veterinary Medicine in September (I'm 20 years old, currently studying Bioveterinary Medicine) and am trying to find a day/half a day placement in an abattoir.
The places I have tried have all turned me down and I am running out of options. Is there any abattoirs anyone can suggest that may be able to offer me a placement - many of them don't have the correct insurance - or anybody that wouldn't mind me tagging along with them on their next visit, as this is one of the ways a lot of people gain the experience.
Anywhere in Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire or surrounding areas would be preferable.
