My little call cross had been laying in her hidey place for about a week - putting her eggs next to a giant marble egg I had left there last year. For the last 2 days there was no egg and I assumed she found a better hiding place as I was taking her eggs away to discourage any breeding. Today I was looking for her and found her sitting on the marble egg but she had not laid any of her own. Is she trying to breed the marble egg or is she tricking me and actually laying her eggs elsewhere ;) I wonder?? :&>
