Title: Annual Inventory of Sheep and Goats (Wales) - no sheep
Post by: GribinIsaf on January 16, 2016, 08:44:12 pm
We have only set up in  the last year and have a CPH number because we currently have pigs.

Silly question but...

have received the annual sheep inventory stuff from Welsh ARAD presumably as me have CPH number?

Notes say "I do not keep sheep.  Do I need to return the form? - Yes"

Then the options on the form are are either "No longer keep any sheep" or "Not a keeper of sheep on Jan 1 but will be during next 12 months" neither of which applies although we may well have sheep in the future (not this year)

So - do we have to send the form back?

Thanks

Easy answer - just put 'no longer keep sheep'.

If you're like me, however, you can't do that, as it's not the right answer.  So then you will phone Defra and ask them what to do.

My money's on they tell you to just put 'no longer keep sheep'.

Welcome to the teeny tiniest tip of the iceberg  :roflanim:

Oh yes! Their is some real, real, real gold out their, just wait until you have to deal with a planning department, they make Defra and the RPA look like models of efficiency!
