Post by: waterbuffalofarmer on November 21, 2015, 07:08:50 pm
List your favourite lines, whether they be from plays or films or books! They must be memorable!
Here's mine.
''All men are fools and what makes them so is having beauty, like what I have got''

Me: "Bubbe, I probably know a lot you don't."

Jeff Goldblum's character, Dr Ian Malcolm, in Jurassic Park sums up much that I feel about the progress of science

"your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could that they didn't stop to think if they should".
 says it all for me

On a much less profound note the line I personally quote most, comes from the wonderfully coarse "Bridesmaids"

" I want to apologise, I'm not even confident which end that came out of "

take your pick !

Just read this recently and it made me think:

Quote from: Greg McKeown

The one and only Bob Dylan. I also like his line from way back"you don't need a weather man to know which way the wind blows"
"With God on our side" is very relevant these days
