ive a lovely looking but bad tempered goose who has decided to go broody in my hen coop- can i move her- her eggs are rolling all over the place and she wont let the hens in to lay!

Hi,
is your goose on her own eggs or those of the chickens?
If she is on the chickens eggs go armed with a broom or a board and push her out. Work it so that the chickens are let out later in the day, eggs collected, then let goosey lucy out.
If ther are her eggs then what are the options for three weeks of chickens moving out?
Why is the goose not laying in her own house?
Sorry for the oudles of questions. Supply with some more info and we will come up with some suggestions

We had a broody goose that decided to hatch three beach pebbles ::) We changed the pebbles for some large breed duck eggs(Swedish blue and Aylesburies) She hatched them and they lasted well.Get her in a place of her own though and fasten her in so she gets the message that that is her nest, but then let her come and go as they dont sit tight 24/7 like a chook.

No they don't sit tight - they often go off for a day - and you may think disaster, but it is normal goose stuff. Good luck with your broody goose.
