Title: hi from llandeilo
Post by: bb41 on September 14, 2015, 11:36:27 pm
I have a small place in Llandeilo soon moving to Hereford,

Iffy start due to circumstance and not having the time to do all the things I wanted but hopefully the move will change all that.

Hope to pick everyones brains in time

Hello from Abergavenny which is a bit nearer to where you're going!
I come up towards Hereford regularly, not least to get my animal feed at Locks, Allensmore who I can recommend highly.

It's a brilliant place is Locks. My grandfather used to make excuses to go there so he could buy the ice creams (choice of sauce).

bb41- hope Hereford works out for you.

Hi and welcome to the forum, am sorry to hear you're moving away, will you send us some pics of your new place?

I sure will do

It's has the same amount of land as I have here but it's all in one place rather than having about 3 small paddocks .

I rescue ex bat hens and ducks and have 4 rescue pot bellied pigs so it will be nice to have them near to each other when feeding.

I bought a huge polytunnel when I came here but soon after realised this wasn't the place to end my days so it stayed in the barn .  First job once the move process has completed is to put it up finally.

I also have 6 dogs, 2 Great Danes , a chocolate lab, terrier cross and 2 pugs so it's a big enough paddock to exercise the dogs 3 times a day.  Not everyone likes to meet Danes on a walk due to size and have encountered many negatives from people who are fearful of them, understandably but used to be very stressful .

One other thing is I won't actually have seen the new house until I move in....I've trusted my husband with the viewing process so I could be heading for divorce courts if it's horrid !!!
