The 2015 National Shetland Sheep Show and Sale will take place at Lanark Agricultural Centre on Friday 28th August (Show, 10am) and Saturday 29th August (Sale, 10am). This is a big deal for Shetland breeders with 20 Champions from all over the UK competing for the Champion of Champions. There is also a craft and fleece competition.

There is also a show and sale of Hebridean sheep and a general sale of rare and traditional breeds - and by all accounts it's a big entry.
As a side remark, animals purchased at the sale will be eligible to be shown at the Scottish Smallholder Festival at the same venue on 26th September.
