Title: Honey
Post by: Castlehill Farm on July 27, 2015, 08:19:54 pm
A friend of mine in Aberdeen is in the process of setting up his first hives.

Both he and I can't wait to try his first honey.

We have a hive in the garden. We had our first small batch last year, it was wonderful. Should get a lot this year, far more than we can use. Exciting stuff.

The good thing about honey is that it keeps well.
Don't give it away or sell it unless you have it by the half hundredweight or more

I've read that some archeologists discovered still edible honey in sealed stone jars that the Egyptians left in their pyramids some 2500 yrs ago .
