Hello everyone!
My family and I have been lurking around the forums for a few months now and found the information on here very useful!
A week ago we bought some Ryeland sheep (two ewe lambs and a ewe in lamb) and we're expecting our first lamb(s) March/April. Hopefully this will be the beginning of a good flock!

Hi and welcome from Scottish Borders I have 14 shetland sheep at the moment with 6 due to lamb april/may. 7 are going to the butcher when they put on a bit more weight. It has been a very hard winter.
Good luck with yours

Hello and welcome :)
I'm in Devon too, where are you?

Hi JulieS,
I'm in Yelverton area, sitting on the edge of the National Park, which is lovely!

Beautiful! I'm further North, between Bideford and Bude.

Hi and welcome! Coloured or white Ryelands? I love my coloureds - looking foward to lambs early April when, hopefully, there will be some grass.

It's lovely up at your end, JulieS!
Hi Rosemary, we currently have white Ryelands, though we're hoping to introduce some colour in a year or two. Do you have whites as well?
Our two ewe lambs are being moved down to the local cricket pitch later today to do a bit of ground clearance, luckily we have no shortage of grass at the moment!
