Title: A new use for Jack Russells
Post by: Greenerlife on March 05, 2010, 06:14:14 pm
My dear little Sprocket has been helping me dig my veg patch today and has unearthed a row of parsnips that had been forgotten about.  Didn't eat them - just dug them up for me.

Parsnip soup anybody?

You can't beat a Jack Russell, they are full of surprises. Mine is being a foot warmer tonight!

and the german shepherd is too wriggly!  Sheba thinks time with us is cuddle/play/love time... she can sleep at night or when we're outside, and she's in 'her' room!

I thought JRs had to be good for something! no use trying to get mine to catch a rabbit for example - actually that's not true she loves trying and the only time she did catch one she was so surprised she dropped it immediately.
AMber thinks i just dig in the garden to share quality digging time with her!!!!!!!!!!! Trouble is she doesn't unerstand the difference between digging and sowing or hoeing or any other gentle activity. She just has one mode - digging.
Still enjoy your parsnips - its a great tail tale
