Hi, We live in deepest darkest Somerset on 4 acres. We moved here 23 years ago and have since been gradually doing the place up, working and growing as much as possible ourselves.
We have Wiltshire Horn sheep, (self shearing models), weaners in the summer, Tamworths this year, a few laying chickens and some meat chicks. As well as a growing vegetable garden.
I have lurked on the site for a while, being a member of the Somerset Smallholders the site is mentioned by other members. So thanks for letting me join. JoB

Hi Jo,
I'm one of the locals that recommended the website, so a very warm welcome. As others have already said, I think you will be able to share lots of valuable experience. How is the sheepdog training going? :dog:
