Mojo, just to let you know that you are not alone in France and that someone has responded!  We are a bit too far south for a meet being in the south of the Gers (32), but Hi anyway.  We have 8 layers, 5 black, 2 white and a 'brarn' baby.  New to this lark and learning as we go.  Chicks sourced from our local market in February and they have (mostly) been laying since mid June.  4/5/6 a day.
Regards, Steve.

Hi, did not respond before, because my chicken keeping knowledge is pretty dismal.  Im in 56, again too far to meet up, would love to chat on line.  HM
