Plenty of leeks , carrots and parsnips might be useful if the ground gets hard frozen in your area.

It;s prbaby a matter of scale. I have greenhouses rather than tunnels 'cos i like to look at the view but at the end of the season i just rip everything out and wash down with jeyes and give it all a rest. There;s plenty in the filed veggie patch to eat by then: carrots, parsnips, brassicas..
You could shoot for new pots for xmas or if game to give some extra light and heat then lots of choices.

I've grown late spuds for Christmas, early spring spuds, salad leaves, carrots.I've also, used it to extend the seasons for things like courgettes.

Everything gets cleared out in October and I have a rest from endless watering, pruning, fixing and picking!!!
