Oocha - glad we came up last week! :relief: Just as well your boys don't have to go to school in that! :innocent:
-
Its a beautiful day here in Carmarthenshire. What a contrast
-
Help ma boab! Sunny here with a few showers. It'll not lie at this time of year :fc:
-
hail showers here, glad i cut the grass this morning as it was wild after 3 weeks away...
garden needs a lot doing but i draw the line at hail as working conditions...
-
3 inches of snow and counting.
We've put the Mums and calves indoors - it was a complete blizzard up here, driving snow and the odd clash of thunder. Such a contrast to yesterday - hot and sunny.
Temps going to drop overnight too...

Yikes! I hope that isn't heading this way

We have had snow and hail showers in between beautiful sunshine. ::)

Looks beautiful here in the Marches but a really cold NE breeze. Set to be colder, breezier and showery over the next few days.
-

4 inches lying, temp is 0 degrees and it's still snowing. First lambs possible from Wednesday :cold:
-
We had about an inch but it melted, though not before our penultimate ewe lambed. A lovely black single ewe lamb who obviously is now "snowflake"!
-
it is supposed to melt tomorrow

Hope you have somewhere indoors for lambing. Poor little things will freeze.

We had a nice morning until lunch time when we had huge hail stones. Ground was white and they were bouncing down the chimney. Rest of the day - the odd shower and sunshine but the angus glens were black all afternoon as we went on a sunday avo jolly.

absolutely - just finished filling it with a very deep straw bed

Sarah was amazed at your photo - such a difference from when we visited! Katie wants to come back up and play with your two lovely boys! :excited:

Our cows and their babies are indoors - some of the babies are quite wee - wouldn't do to leave them outdoors with the lying snow and plumiting temps.
We've set them up with a bale of hay just outside the shed. The babies are running around in the shed, their mamas are going for a nibble and then returning to shed to make sure they're OK.
Steve's just been up to check on them and we can watch them on the IP cams - one inside the shed & one for the yard near the hay bale. Still waiting for 2 more calves - should be here soon...
Such a tense time - more for us then the moos - just waiting and hoping the last 2 arrive safely.
Fingers crossed for all those keepers waiting for their new arrivals.
Sue xx
