Title: Hello from me and my 8 year old son.

Hello, My name is James and Ilive in Prescot, Merseyside. I have always wanted to have a smallholding but havn't got the money or the space  :'( . My 8 year old son Joseph started to look though my books and has shown a keen interest in self sufficiency. We have decieded to start using are small yard to grow a few bits and pieces with the possiblity of getting few quail for egg production. this will be are first year so be ready for lots of questions coming your way  :thumbsup:

Loving the fact that your son is so keen!  I have an 11 year old who lives and breathes smallholding (injected her first sheep this weekend and is so pleased with herself!)   looking forward to hearing about your quail and veggie growing
