Title: New member, be gentle!
Post by: dle54 on March 19, 2015, 06:19:31 pm
Hi,
I'm a new boy on this forum. Im privileged to live in beautiful Monmouthshire. My wife and I bread alpaca, chickens and we are about to buy some pigs. I'll be visiting the pig forum soon.
Any advice, help and or guidance will be gratefully received.

David

Hi David
I'm just down the road from you - just outside Abergavenny. I keep pigs (nearly 2 years now) so if you need a friendly neighbour on the pig front, just shout.

Hi David,

I am new here too. We breed alpacas as well and live on the Llyn Peninsula. We have chickens, mini donkeys and a few other types of fowl. We are hoping for a lovely lot of cria this year but were late mating. It's very addictive. Who does your shearing?
We ventured into pig rearing last year and will be buying our third lot in June. We think it's very worthwhile.

I'm just south from you between Monmouth and Chepstow, started with pigs for the first time this year and already feel addicted! Would love to learn more about alpacas
