Title: Wonderwool
Post by: Lesley Silvester on February 10, 2015, 09:19:36 pm
Is anyone doing Wonderwool this year? I gave it a miss last year but really want to go this time. I'm considering doing a night's B&B so that I can go on both days, or maybe on the Friday so I can have a full day there on the Saturday.

It would be good to meet other TASers who will be there. Two years ago I met Bionic with her OH and it was lovely to have a chat. They were also very kind and helped me get my purchases (lots of) back to the car and get my scooter in. This time I will have a hoist to get the chair in so I have no ulterior motive in suggesting a meet.  ;)

I was planning to go with my daughter but we have just taken a B and B booking for that weekend, but I may be able to persuade OH he can welcome the guests in in Saturday as long as I am back to cook breakfast on Sunday. I will let you know nearer the time, meeting up would be good!

Kate, maybe we can go together. You will love it and go home with enough yarn to keep you knitting for the rest of your life if you're not careful.

Louise, I hope you can make it. Let us know and we can fix a meeting place/time.

Yep, I am going again. I already have a full stash here so said I wouldn't go this year but I can't resist it.  :)

Sally, I didn't go last year as I still had so much from the previous year. I still have a lot of stuff from then but I have to go again.

Going to "Unravel" at Farnham next week and see how I get along!  If I buy too much, I probably won't be allowed to go to Wonderwool!  :roflanim:

Saturday if I do go I think.

I've got one ewe I bought inlamb that I'm not entirely sure of the expected date but could be around then so will all depend on her.
I'll have a word tomorrow morning and tell her to have it Easter weekend with the last of the other ewes. :roflanim:

Probably best not to mention it. If sheep are as awkward as goats, she'll give birth on the Saturday just to spite you.

Have broached subject with OH, looks like he is on for making guest breakfasts, so I am hoping to be there on the Saturday! :excited:
