Title: goat scour.

My 1yo male goat is scouring,
he has been wormed, any help or ideas.

Could be coccidia, fluke or ineffective worming (wrong dose, wrong type, resistance).
I'd ask your vet to check a faecal sample for the above and discuss feeding, pasture, local conditions, housing etc as all will help diagnose and treat the problem.

Has he had access to anything different to eat? I put a Christmas tree out and one kid scoured next day but then ok. Not sure if a coincidence. I agree with previous post if it continues for more than 24 hours. I did FEC then worked accordingly and did a repeat test 7-14 days later to check for resistance. Time span varies on wormer type. Then you know what is or isn't working. Make sure you ask for all worms types to be checked as they don't do fluke and cocci as standard sometimes.
