Title: A question for someone who understands weaving
Post by: Bionic on January 21, 2015, 05:51:23 pm
My mind has gone blank.  I am trying to warp up my rigid heddle. It has an 8 dent reed. My yarn has 12 WPI so it will be 6 EPI.
I am trying to remember how to convert it onto my 8 dent reed.  Do I put an extra warp in a couple of reeds per inch or have I got that completely wrong?
Does this even make sense?

Just thought about this again and now thinking I should be missing out 2 reeds and not doubling up. Is that right?

One two three miss one all the way across gives you 6epi in an 8 dent reed.

No. It sounds like a euphemism though but for what I wonder...?  :roflanim: :innocent:
