Title: Hello
Post by: Orchard Barn on December 09, 2014, 05:35:28 pm
Quick note to say hi. My wife and I purchased a property with a small amount of land (c.4 acres) in the Cotswolds about 18 months ago. We've not done anything with it yet, but we are about to get a couple of goats as an introduction to keeping livestock (with help available from neighbouring farmers!).

We would like to eventually make the land pay for itself, and the upkeep of the house...no idea how yet, but I'm sure it's going to be a fun adventure and if nothing else, a great opportunity for us to enjoy the outdoors together and of course life in a rural village.

Chickens definitely! But first a fox-proof house and run.
