Title: Injecting in Lamb Ewe (Heptavac)
Post by: lou13 on November 23, 2014, 01:57:24 pm
I need to heptavac my ewes due to lamb on the 28th december but one is due on the 4th december. Do you think i'll be alright to inject the ewe due in a few weeks?
Cheers!

It's normal to vaccinate them 2-3 weeks before lambing, to give maximum passive immunity to the lambs.

Your one due 4th Dec (11 days from now, I make it) therefore needs injecting asap, the others from 7th Dec.
