Post by: Liam_86 on November 05, 2014, 07:57:14 am
Morning

Iv got a chap from animal health doing a farm visit. What documentation do i need to show him?

I bought the pigs from a farmer up the road, Is it just the medicine book and tags?

Thanks

Useful to have some kind of register showing your holding number and the number of the holding moved from/to as well as dates.  He'll also probably be interested in where your feed is stored (rodent contamination), water supply including provisions for freezing weather, dry housing and bedding, adequate fencing, how muck is dealt with, herd health plan and, of course, the condition of the pigs.
