Title: Garage/outbuilding advice for coastal plot on Hebrides.
Post by: Borneo Bill on October 26, 2014, 01:10:08 pm
Hi,

Not sure if this is the place for this, being a new boy on the site, but we are thinking to put up a garage/workshop (8m x 5m) on our plot. Permission already granted. We'd like wood, but not extravagantly posh; needs to withstand the winds and rain we get. Anyone recommend a good shed/garage builder/supplier out there? Kits considered as well...we are quite handy.

Much appreciated!

Nissan huts are popular in windy locations.

What ever type of building its maybe worth considering a turf roof?
That would weigh the structure down a bit.
