Title: small tractor insurance
Post by: iank on October 22, 2014, 07:45:12 pm
I am trying to find a reasonable price to insure a small tractor for fire, third party and theft, although theft is the main concern. It is never driven on the road, only by me, no contracting etc
It is only worth about £6000, and many insurers are just not interested. The best quote I have had is £170, which is almost as much as our fully comp van insurance.
Does anyone have any recommended insurers or brokers to try?
Thanks
Ian

If the tractor is over 25 years old you can get vintage insurance cover for about £50ish.   Walker midgley or cherished
