I have been spinning on an Ashford traditional, but have just bought a lendrum, which I am really enjoying playing with! However, I am about three quarters of the way through spinning some yarn for a sweater on my traddy. Should I complete all the yarn on the traddy or can I do the rest on the Lendrum? Is there likely to be a noticeable difference in the yarn?

Which Lendrum did you get? I have the Saxony which is a whopping great thing but glorious to spin on.
Probably you're best to finish your current project on the traddy, unless the Lendrum is exactly the same ratio, bobbin size etc. (but maybe others will disagree). I tend to have different projects on different wheels and pick up whichever one I feel like working on that day. Having said that, I've not had much time to spin recently :( :spin: I expect you'll be desperate to use your new wheel :yippee:
I'll look forward to hearing what you think of the Lendrum, whichever one you have.

I have the upright wheel, double treadle. I have spent too much time today playing rather than cleaning up the dust from sanding the kitchen floor! I think the ratios are different, so I will probably carry on the yarn for my sweater on my traddy, and continue to play with the different ratios on the Lendrum. I have the jumbo head and a fast flyer, so I think that gives me a range of nine ratios to play with!
