Hi folks. I've got a glut of milk as one of my girls wasn't supposed to come into milk this year, but I guess no one told her, nd getting 16+ pints a day!! Was hoping she'd dry up by now but no signs of that happening!! Have been using freezer bags but not working out so well. Nd cheese making without starter nd rennet not working so well this time of year!

I use the cartons from Goat Nutrition to freeze mine in.

Thanks Clydesdaleclopper!

Can you not get some rennet and cheese starter culture by mail order? That's the only place I get mine from, for example, goat nutrition sell it, others too, just google.
-
I freeze mine in 1 ltr bags , never had a problem with it.

I use 1 pint milk bags (only because I haven't found 1 litre one's)goat nutrition or ebay but you also need a heat sealer which are cheap enough -ebay too! Sent a milk bag to them to test before I purchased-very helpful. No problems here either.

Freeze in plastic icecream boxes then transfer to plastic bag once frozen, store to feed lambs/ kids next year.
or get pigs. :D

Yep freeze in ice cream tubs, once frozen hold under the hot tap for a minute, shake out the block of milk, put it into a bag and back into the freezer. Then wash and re use the ice cream tub for another block of milk.
