Title: slaughter and processing chickens for sale on farm
Post by: sarahdean_66 on September 26, 2014, 09:38:40 pm
I can find info which says I can slaughter home grown poultry on site but dislocation or decapitation and sell it in small numbers but not if I can pluck and gut is first as well. Can anyone shed any more light on this please? Thanks

Not a bad overview - you mat be able to ignore the organic details and the larger scale regulations. Small scale regulations are <10,000 birds which should cover most of us!

Check out the Meat Industry Guide on the FSA website. It covers any business that kills or packs meat
