Title: Metacam. Daily?
Post by: GlebeFieldFarm on September 10, 2014, 12:09:12 pm
Hi

Had metacam prescribed for one of my ewes.

Just can't remember if your meant to give it daily or not.

Anyone have any ideas before I pester the vet again. She has 2ml subcutaneous yesterday.

Thanks

I was told 3 days daily for the last one I treated.

If you bought it from the vet, they should've stuck a label on it, telling you how much and how often.  Otherwise it's the humble-pie sorry-I-forgot phone call...

Yup, it should deff say on the label, iirc 3 days seems about right but always better to ring. And phoning the vets is free :-)
