Hi,
I intend to rent about 6 acres of land for sheep grazing and rearing. I would like to give the young lad a chance to get started so I'm thinking of letting of 3 years at a pound an acre per year. How can i cover my self for the unknown and what paperwork do I need?
Help please
David

you are renting land or want to rent your land out?
-
Hi,
Sorry but I don't understand. I intend to rent the land.
-
What Shygirl means is are you wanting to rent the land yourself or do you have the land and want to rent it out to the lad ?
Wish I could find some land for £1 an acre a year ::)

Just draw up a contract, with what is expected of both parties, and sign it.

Hi Shygirl'
Understand now. I own the land and would like to rent it out. If things all go wrong I would like to know how to safeguard my land so it stays mine. Do I rent it for 12 months at a time or 11 month, all things like that.
Many thanks
David
