Title: finding land
Post by: Joey on August 29, 2014, 04:01:30 pm
Hi
I'm new to this site and don't actually have a small holding but am looking to find a field to put a yurt in and begin from there. Does anyone have any advice on how to start looking to find a small piece of land and then get water and compost loos on it? Might be a big ask but any pointers would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Joey

A lot will depend on where you are looking as the law in Scotland is different from that in England and Wales. Also each planning authority has a different approach to these things dependent upon the local plan. Do you have any ideas about where you want to be?

Hello and welcome from a blustery Somerset!

I'm afraid that I cannot advise about yurts and compost loos, but it sounds very interesting. Good luck and let us know how you get on.
